Ross Macdonald

As Principal, Vice President of Strategic Investments, Mr. Macdonald is responsible for sourcing and managing the investment process for Middleburg’s Co-GP and Preferred Equity Investment platforms. The Co-GP and Preferred Equity platforms partner with best-in-class Sponsors to support the development of Multifamily and BTR communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.

Prior to joining Middleburg, Ross was a Senior Director at Forum Investment Group where he led originations, underwriting and execution of Co-GP and Preferred Equity investments for the Company. Prior to joining Forum, Ross was a Senior Associate at Parse Capital where he led originations for Preferred Equity, and LP Equity investments for Multifamily development in the Southeast. Before joining Parse in 2018, Ross was a Vice President at Wells Fargo and an investment analyst at Prudential Capital Group. He earned his CFA charter in 2017.

Mr. Macdonald graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
