Lorena Rivero
In her role, Ms. Rivero is responsible for a variety of HR functions that support Middleburg Communities commitment to a positive and engaging workplace culture. Working closely with the VP of People and Culture and the People and Compensation Manager, Ms. Rivero plays an integral role in onboarding new hires, assisting with essential administrative tasks, and fostering strong employee relations.
In her previous role, Ms. Rivero was responsible for driving employee engagement and retention initiatives, along with managing other key HR tasks, which contributed to building a cohesive and motivated team. She brings over four years of HR experience to Middleburg, along with a comprehensive skill set gained from her studies at James Madison University, where she earned a degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Fine Arts. Her background allows her to connect effectively with employees, supporting a culture of growth, inclusivity, and excellence across the organization.
