George Elias
In his role, Mr. Elias is responsible for managing all aspects of the planning and execution of multifamily and single family for rent development opportunities. These responsibilities include site feasibility and analysis, due diligence, land planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial analysis, design, entitlements and permitting, financing support, and direct coordination with various design and development team professionals.
Before joining Middleburg, Mr. Elias spent 6 years with AvalonBay Communities where he managed their Quality Assurance Initiative focused on quality throughout development, design, and construction and worked in their procurement group forming national partnerships with vendors. He also spent 3 years with Clark Construction Group where he worked as an engineer in the field in project management and in preconstruction budgeting, estimating, and purchasing.
Mr. Elias graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and an active mentor (and former liaison) for the Shelters to Shutters philanthropy.
