Christopher C. Finlay
Mr. Finlay is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Middleburg, a leading investment firm maximizing value through a fully integrated approach to the acquisition, development, construction and operations of high-quality attainable housing. In this role, Mr. Finlay takes primary responsibility for the strategic vision and direction of the firm, defense of the corporate culture, and the active oversight and management of the Middleburg affiliated companies. In this capacity, Mr. Finlay has lead the company in the acquisition, development and construction of over 33,000 housing units and over $4.3 billion in transactions and has grown Middleburg to one of the largest developers and builders of rental housing in the United States.
He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Entryway, formerly known as Shelters to Shutters, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Mr. Finlay also serves on the Board of Trustees for Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC and on the Board of Directors of the National Sporting Library and Museum in Middleburg, Virginia.
Mr. Finlay is active with industry organizations and is on the Board of Directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council.
Mr. Finlay served seven years in the United States Marine Corps and graduated with Honors from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
