Volunteers from Mission James Place helped out at the Central Texas Food Bank. The Central Texas Food Bank works with food donors across the country, financial supporters and volunteers to fill unmet needs in Central Texas. The commitment from private, government and charitable partners has allowed The Food Bank of Central Texas to bring 45 million meals to their community last year and into the hands of families and local nonprofits.

On Tuesday the team prepped meals and packaged them in plastic containers which they then vacuum sealed for extra protection. They also cleaned and sanitized the Styrofoam coolers used for meal delivery. Overall, the team helped to prepare approximately 960 meals that day! Great Job!
