Middleburg Communities, in conjunction with Creating Our Future Inc., gave out free turkeys to 37 families that live at the Vesta communities in Atlanta, Georgia. The holidays this year will be very different for everyone during the pandemic. With unemployment rates at an all time high and families having to stay apart, it was a priority to bring resources to our communities to make sure that our residents had the best Thanksgiving possible.

Thankfully, with lots of help from Creating Our Future Inc., we were able to impact 37 families. The families not only received a turkey but also received a care package with information about local resources that can provide care and assistance in many ways, school supplies, tutoring opportunities for the kids and other items that will come in handy while they are at home. Residents were very excited to get a free turkey but were also thankful for the other resources they received.

One resident said, “I didn’t think I was going to be able to put together a full Thanksgiving meal for my kids, but now that is possible. Thank you so much!” Middleburg Communities would like to thank Creating our Futures Inc. for their help with providing these resources to our residents.
